Marshall-AdamMarshal Adam: Business Development Manager

Marshal started with Musashi in 1990. He is now the Business Development Manager responsible for new product development and is one of the trainers behind all the supplement programs found on this site.

Marshal consults to Musashi’s elite sporting partners including strength and conditioning coaches for professional teams and athletes such as Libby Trickett, Matt Shirvington, Anna Meares and Stirling Mortlock.

His experience includes several years in the United States working with 6 NFL teams, National Ice Hockey League teams and body builders and power lifters. 

 


Rodney-CampbellRodney Campbell: Natropath and Technical Advisor

Rodney has a Diploma Applied Science in Naturopathy (SSNT), Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia, Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Melbourne University, a fellow of the Australian Natural Therapist Association and a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

He has over 20 years experience and has worked with Musashi since 1992. Rodney handles all consumer enquiries, conducts all Musashi staff and retailer training, advises athletes on supplement programs, speaks on behalf of Musashi at numerous seminars and conducts research on the scientific validation of ingredients used in products.

Barrie-FinninDr Barrie Finnin: PhC, PhD, FPS 

A Pharmacist and Pharmacologist, Dr Finnin has held an academic position at Monash University for around 30 years. He has been a consultant to Musashi since its inception in 1988.

Dr Finnin has conducted research into the therapeutic effects of Amino Acids and use of dietary supplements for improved performance in sport; pharmacokinetics; absorption of drugs; and transdermal delivery of drugs. He is the author of several books and holds several patents.

As a consultant, Dr Finnin has been used by the Australian Government, the Government of the State of Victoria, major drug companies and the sports supplement industry. He has advised elite athletes including Olympic medalists, international tennis players, test cricket players, international rugby and rugby league players, and award-winning body builders on the use of sports supplements.

Dr-Stephen-BirdDr Stephen Bird:

PhD, BHMvt(Hons), CSCS, AEP

Dr Bird is currently serving as Senior Advisor, Sports Science and Physcial Preparation Department, Indonesian National  Top-tier Athlete Program and is responsible for overseeing compeition preperation for scheduled events by the Olympic Council of Asia, including the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, a position he holds through the School of Human Movement Studies, Charles Sturt University.

The inaugural winner of the AAESS Medal and former recipient of the NSCA Graduate Research Award in the USA, Dr. Bird holds positions on the South African Medical Research Council Grants Review Board and Australian Strength and Conditioning Association Advisory Panel,. As research consultant with Musashi, Dr. Bird’s research aims to improve our understanding of the physiological response(s) associated with supplementation strategies, following training.
